Horace Mann Renovation Update
Window demolition and masonry restoration continue. Windows will be temporarily boarded as they are removed until the new windows are installed later on in the project. Exterior demolition and excavation also continue in preparation for the new elevator and campus facing entry into the building. Meier Hall Addition
Foundation excavation will continue intermittently through October. Concrete and steel work are anticipated to begin in mid-October. The goal is to have the foundation complete before winter. Learn more about the Meier Hall addition.
Decarbonization Project Update
Mobilization for phase one of the geothermal drilling project has begun. Fencing was installed to close off the lower section of the College Drive parking lot (near Peabody Hall). Faculty and staff can still park in the upper section of this lot and in over 250 parking spaces reserved for them on the third and fourth floors of the North Campus Parking Garage.
