As a part of the GLS Department Seminar, Dr.Dana Reuter (SSU) will give a talk titled "Are you what you eat? Investigating the influence of diet on mammalian ecology and evolution." Dr. Reuter is a paleoecologist who uses a variety of methods to test hypotheses about the ecological links among extinct taxa and their environment. She looks to the fossil record to understand the processes that govern organismal diet, ecological diversity, and ecological community change.
