Bake It Till You Make It!

Oct 23
Nationally Recognized Mental Health Activist, Dayna Altman

Join the Mental Health Political Advocacy Coalition, Bold Educated and Empowered Sisters (BEES), and the Center for Civic Engagement in welcoming nationally recognized mental health advocate, Dayna Altman for a Halloween baking show! Join us for a live baking show where she will share her mental health journey through baking. Learn, listen and reflect with Dayna and create your own recipes for mental health. Come decorate baked goods, enter a raffle to win Dayna's cook book or purchase her poetry books! Given the spirit of the season we encourage (not require) folks to dress in costume and enjoy spooky treats!

Warning: Please be aware that Dayna's story includes challenging topics such as suicide ideation, eating disorders, and domestic violence. While she shares her challenging journey, she also shares inspiration, resources, and messages of hope.

The confidential 24/7 SSU mental health support line is available at 978.542.8327

Please RSVP to reserve your seat today!
