Required Materials

• $50 non-refundable application fee 

• Official transcript from all institutions attended with a minimum final grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale in your bachelor's degree 

  • Bachelor's degree in geography or a related field 

  • If you attended an institution outside of the United States, a transcript evaluation from one of our approved agencies is required. 

• Two references 

• Statement of purpose 

• English Proficiency, if applicable for international applicants

Please note: Students who have successfully completed three (3) courses of the Graduate Certificate in GIS program with a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or greater in each class can enter the MS program directly with approval of the graduate coordinator.
